Notes |
- Fanny never had children. She was involved with the Chicago Art Museum. In the 50's when they wanted to expand the Museum she helped get the Jewish community involved. They arranged for Marc Chigall to create a beautiful stained glass window for the expansion. There were 1,000 replicas of the stained glass which were made by followers of Chigall and signed by him They were given away for donors who gave $10,000. Apparently, they were all handed out. Fanny had one of the replicas and it is still in the family. (This is per Terry Howard Nov 2004)
