      "Died At Redruth on Tuesday last, after a severe illness Mr. Richard Penrose, draper, greatly lamented by all who knew him."


      Romania Miller noted: "We his descendants also lament his death, but especially the fact that his obituary was not as complete as those of today. It failed to give the date of birth and parent's names. Those facts would mean a great deal to those of us searching for his ancestry."
